Michael has done several jobs for us in the past, and he recently did a large floor fix/installation for us while we were out of town. His company does beautiful work, and we feel very confident going out of town and allowing him to do the job we hired him for in a professional manner. We have gotten to know Michael personally through all the work he has done for us, and I can tell you that he is a person of integrity, honesty and well worth what we pay him and his team. We called roughly 15-20 different companies for consultation and quotes.  Only two companies picked up the phone when I called the first time and only 6 got back to me in a reasonable time frame.  VanderHyde was the only one that contacted me when promised after initial contact.  Michael was fantastic and he kept every single promise he made from beginning to end. The communication was on point, the prices are incredibly fair, the workers are friendly and they clean up after themselves.  Will not be considering another company for future projects!

Michael and his crew recently installed a tile shower, backsplash and a countertop for us. They were professional, knowledgeable, polite, respectful of our home, and cleaned up each day.  Michael's attention to detail, knowledge and expertise were much appreciated and show in the final product.

Michael and his team both designed and built a fairly intricate deck for us and we couldn't be happier with both the design and the quality of their work.  Attention to detail was far superior to other contractors I've used for other projects.  He also did a great job with some landscape work. VanderHyde construction did the most amazing job in building our new screened in porch. The attention to detail was amazing. The worksite was cleaned up everyday after construction.
